lurkers on parade

Now, I'm not generally one to complain about lack of feedback. But it is rather startling that over 110 people have downloaded (or, at least, tried to download) my latest vid, and I've only gotten a smidgen of feedback. Hmmph. Then again, I know it is easy to forget to feedback on vids, since it takes time to download 'em in the first place, and by the time you watch the vid, you're not necessarily still on the same webpage anymore. But sheesh, nonetheless.

That's just a mild sheesh, though, because I'm really pleased with the way the vid turned out. And this evening I came up with the perfect song idea for an end-of-season Doctor/Rose vid which (if I'm still in the mood) I will make after my residency period (by which time all of the eps will have aired). But I think I'll keep the song a secret until I do it. ::rubs hands together gleefully::

Now it's back to chapter six!

Sorry! I downloaded it earlier, but didn't have a chance to actually watch it until just now.

It was great! I really like the way you married the visuals to the song.

I still had your original entry open in a tab, but it seemed easier to just respond to your new post.

I had three failed attempts at download it over my connection, then resorted to using Himself's. It's now sitting on his PC, waiting for me to get the chance to transfer it across to here.

And now it's on my PC, and I love it!

Makes me want to go buy the DVDs now so I can watch all the best bits again straight away.

And I envy your skill at fitting everything together.

I actually started and deleted three comments re this one thing this morning. I think I'll just say that my sympathies are with you. When I do the math of downloads:feedback for my vids? I'm lucky to get one in about 500. I know just how you feel.

That's vidding for you. It drives me crazy, especially as, with our excellent webstats, I can often tell who has downloaded a vid and not then left feedback. I feel like yelling at people, 'Don't you know we had to pay for the bandwidth you just used? Is a few words in response so much to ask?'.

I don't, of course. I'm very good and pretend I haven't noticed. ;)

I didn't DL your vid as I'm not a Who fan, and I DL very few vids in fact, being on dial-up. But I do appreciate your frustration here.

I have crappy dialup so I don't even try to watch vids :( wish I could. Sorry I seemed to be commenting uselessly on all my friends' journals today.
