a day at the office
Back at the office. A one-day work week isn't too shabby, though I'm coughing from the con crud.
Back to working on the Jo book. Chapter 14 is in pretty good shape, and I may be able to finish it this weekend. Today's research (Pet Rocks!, which were all the rage in 1975) revealed a reference to a Historical Dictionary of the 1970s, which I snapped up cheaply on Amazon.com. I would've been very surprised, in the seventies, to learn that I would one day need to research that decade.
I am loving Georgette Heyer's A Civil Contract, which I will almost certainly finish reading this weekend.
