Ryan's Hope is so marvelous right now. The Delia/Pat/Faith triangle is heating up, resulting in Dee consulting Roger and medical books so she can fake a nervous breakdown to reel Pat back in! Possibly Dee's most reprehensible scheme ever.

Lines of the week:

Delia: What kind of nervous breakdown did Faith have?
Roger: An acute paranoid schizophrenic episode.
Delia: Can I have one of those?

Meanwhile, the Jack/Mary/Tom triangle is heating up. The look on Jack's face when he saw Mary and Tom cozying up to each other was priceless.

Jack: Mary'll be better off without me. She'll remarry and--OMGWTFBBQ she just agreed to a dinner date with Tom Desmond ARGH!!!!!!!

And then Jack playing peek-a-boo with baby Ryan. And Jack with a kitten (which he named Fenelli)!! Cuteness overload.

Meanwhile, in Seneca/Jill/Frank-ville:

Seneca: Wear this engagement ring.
Jill: It's so beautiful...la la la I'm hallucinating that you're Frank!
Gwynnega [groans]: Jill, you and Frank aren't gonna get married until 1983, and you're both gonna cheat on each other a bunch of times, so you may as well have fun with Seneca for awhile. He may be a lying control freak, but unlike Frank, he knows how to put you first. At least give up the Frank fetish until the Hot Frank Actors start showing up...

I am so in love with Delia and her Roger-coached nervous breakdown. I was howling at that line, too!

DAMMIT. I always miss the really good stuff. For some reason, tivo dumped all the episodes from the Aug. 8-21 while I was gone, even though RH is listed as a higher priority. It's so infuriating. Better check my settings - again.

Oh, well. At least when it starts over, again - some of it will still be *new* to me...
