Today's Jo book words: 1530
I am so glad I figured out what to do with chapter 20. First draft writing is so much fun, but soon I will be done with the draft of chapter 20 and I'll have to go back and make it, you know, actually good. Plus I still need to do some more research for the chapter.
The rest of the evening will be taken up by Georgette Heyer, Dark Shadows, and a champagne cocktail.
I think part of my extra-good mood is due to the knowledge I only have a two-day work week ahead.

Jo is a young soap opera actress in mid-1970s NYC. She's being haunted by the ghost of her best friend who accidentally blew herself up protesting the Vietnam War. (Also, Jo is in love with her married co-star.)
It's basically a literary novel with a ghost in it (like my last novel was a literary novel with vampires!).
