good things for a virtual Friday

Some things I am happy about:

1) My weekend will soon begin.

2) WisCon is a week away!

3) A very cool writing-related thing happened this week, which I'm not going to talk about here lest I jinx it. But it is very cool!

4) My Sylvia Plath CD arrived in the mail yesterday.

5) Ryan's Hope continues to be awesome (in spite of Siobhan #2, AKA Fauxbhan).

6) The Garage Kitty continues to be adorable.

7) Did I mention WisCon is a week away?

I'd never seen Ann Gillespie as Siobhan, and to my surprise I like her quite a lot. She's no Sarah Felder, but she's got her own spunky quality and plenty of energy.

p.s. and did I mention that I found out that Ann Gillespie, like Molly MacGreevey, is now an Episcopal priest? Along with Malcolm Groome, that makes at least three RH alumni who've made spirituality their life path!

Gillespie starts out okay, but her Siobhan gets wimpier and more watered-down as the Joe storyline progresses. By the time she's through with the role, the only thing that gives Siobhan her backbone back is Marg Helgenberger...
