gwynnega: (O Come)
Yippee, I checked my poems on the developmental website of that literary journal, and they've fixed them up. The issue should be on-line this coming week. I've wanted to be published in this journal for years...

Every time I go outside I start to feel slightly under the weather. I guess (southern California wimp that I am) I'm just not used to what passes for cold weather around here (I guess it's around 60 today, and a bit windy). I was just outside running a couple of errands - grocery shopping, and searching (still fruitlessly) for a beautiful desk calendar for 2003. Wacko usually has great ones, but they didn't have the right one for me yesterday (plus they were nightmarishly busy - I don't know why I expected them to be less crazed than any other shop the weekend before Christmas). I've contemplated ordering the Buffy desk calendar, but I'm afraid it won't have enough room for my appointments on it, designed, as it is, for high schoolers.

And speaking of school, I'm still obsessively waffling about grad school - whether to get my MFA in creative writing or not, and where to apply. More about this... )
