Today I went to a matinee of The Dark Knight at the Los Feliz Theater. I had a quibble or two with it, but thought it quite good overall--and Heath Ledger's performance was astonishing. Before and after the movie I browsed in Skylight Books, which now has an additional store next door (for magazines, graphic novels, film and music books, etc.). I'm glad they're doing so well (though it seems a bit odd to have to buy graphic novels, magazines etc. separately).

I finished reading Amanda Cross's In the Last Analysis, so picked up The James Joyce Murder at the library on my way home. Does anybody have any particular favorites in the Kate Fansler series?

Now to look up what TV shows aired on Monday night in the autumn of 1975, for the Jo book...
