It was amazing. I hadn't expected to see it either. I was booked for an 8:15 am flight and managed to oversleep! The company travel agency put me on a 3:45 p.m. flight which meant I was driving to the airport when the Endeavor was doing on the fly-bys, so I saw it 4 different times on the way to the airport.
I managed to arrive at LAX shortly before 1 pm so my last view of it was when it flew over the 405 on its way to land. The traffic was so slow at that point, that I grabbed my camera and shot a photo through the windshield of the car.
