Yes, they are more fully fleshed out, because older - although oddly I thought they both seemed much older (even though Delpy, at any rate, is only slightly older than the character she's playing). I think Hawke would have grated on me if he'd been paired with someone who wasn't Delpy...their chemistry is so good, it improves him!
