Watched ep 2x5 tonight (there's just one more ep yet to air in New Zealand), and damn, just before they pulled the plug, the show finally started to play to Eliza Dushku's strengths - probably because of Jane Espenson's input. Namely, Tru starts to get a god complex, and saves her new boyfriend from dying even though he isn't the corpse who asks for help. She starts lying, challenging fate, and saying I'll Do This Because I Can. It's the first ep of the show in which I saw the passion that Faith had. So of course, just when it gets really good, there's only one damn episode left to watch! Ugh...
