As half my FL vanishes to read the new Potter book...

I watched The Revengers Tragedy today, and absolutely loved it. A fantastic, glowering performance by Christopher Eccleston, who gave the character of the Revenger much more complexity than I'd expected would be possible. (CE is also incredibly hot when he's Machiavellian and violent!) Eddie Izzard was great, too, as was Derek Jacobi (though the character he played was an irredeemable slime).

I'd never read the play - though I feel as if I had, because of its prominent place in Tam Lin - but now I'm quite curious to read some Jacobean drama (after I graduate!). I wish I had a copy of Tam Lin so I could reread that section of the book...must get a copy soon.

Last night I also watched Death to the Daleks, and this weekend I'm also watching Resurrection of the Daleks. (Lots of daleks!) I also might watch the RTD commentary track for The Second Coming. (I wish all my Doctor Who fan friends would watch The Second Coming so we could discuss the parallels between it and RTD's Doctor Who.)

Now I'm going to read more of The Kite Runner (quite a bleak book, but a page turner) and do some other school stuff. Tomorrow is henna day!
