From
new_who: The BBC has stepped up the search for 108 missing episodes of Doctor Who following the huge success of the latest series.
I would be especially delighted if they found The Power of the Daleks. I've started listening to the audio version of it today, and it's terrific - Patrick Troughton's first story, and the first regeneration (plus the audiobook is narrated by Tom Baker!).
Last night I finished watching The Time Robber (marvelous) and some scattered Patrick Troughton episodes from the Lost in Time DVD compilation. Particularly cool was The Web of Fear, partially set in the Underground, with yetis! (I wish there were yetis in the Underground instead of another bomb attack...)
On Ryan's Hope today, more stellar Jack/Siobhan, with hugging and great conversation and Jack speaking Italian to Siobhan. Also on today's ep, the first ever appearance of the character Joe Novak, future husband of Siobhan. Quite a good-looking guy too, in a dark broody kind of way. Much as I love Jack/Siobhan, I am looking forward to seeing Siobhan/Joe (since Sarah Felder has chemistry with everyone!).
