Christmas Eve spamming

Saw a matinee of Brokeback Mountain at my local theater today. ::sniffle:: Really a fine movie - great script and cinematography and soundtrack, great performances. Heath Ledger was especially brilliant.

I also went to Skylight (the bookshop next to the theater) before the film started, where I ogled but didn't buy thick hardcover editions of the collected poems of Ted Berrigan and June Jordan, and bought a paperback of Samuel Delany's About Writing, which looks terrific.

I'm deeply engrossed in The Time Traveler's Wife, and in the midst of watching The Two Doctors. And tomorrow, new Who!
