welcome back, Laura

There's loads of Luke/Laura on YouTube at the moment (possibly more than usual because of Genie Francis being back on General Hospital hooray!!!). Someone's uploaded some really great old clips, including this one from I think early 1980, in which Laura keeps Luke from carrying out a hit that will mean his death, and Roy Delucca does it instead and dies in Bobbie's arms. Man, the show had such a raw energy to it in those days.

And hee, THIS is from the first episode of General Hospital I ever saw, back in the summer of 1980! I scoffed at watching a soap opera, but my girlfriend Amanda insisted, and I've been pretty much hooked ever since...
