henna day post
Sep. 21st, 2008 01:38 pmIt's henna day, and I'm sitting here with the green glop on my head, listening to the Passing Strange soundtrack and reeling at the financial crisis/bailout. Later I'll try to finish up the chapter seven revisions and make another trip to Trader Joe's.
Last night I watched the 1972 production of The Scarecrow (which first aired on PBS) starring Gene Wilder and a very young Blythe Danner. A wonderful play, and possibly the best performance I've ever seen from Gene Wilder (which is saying a lot).
I finished reading Amanda Cross's Poetic Justice yesterday, and it was all I could do to make myself take a little break before continuing on with the fourth book in the series, The Theban Mysteries. I'm still reading Diary of a Provincial Lady and the Louis Edmonds biography...
