autumn in LA

A blustery cool autumn day in LA. I've been working on chapter nine, helped along by 1970s Joni Mitchell.

This weekend I watched for the first time the beautiful film Curse of the Cat People (the title is misleading, considering it's a film about a little girl's fantasy world!). Sort of a sequel to the also very good but more horror-ish Cat People. Also I've been watching more 1969 Dark Shadows, and reading the NY Review of Books.

Soon I will eat a Trader Joe's chicken burrito and watch Dexter. Then more noveling. Oh weekend, why are you so short?
