real and imagined soap operas
Dec. 17th, 2008 02:41 pmToday is cold and wet and dark. We may get some hail. I wish I'd brought an extra layer of clothes (though I've got on a cashmere sweater and a scarf, and I have my coat).
I wrote about 400 words of chapter eleven at lunchtime. Having fun with the Jo book. Though it's a big challenge, I get a kick out of writing the soap-within-the-novel, complete with classic soap storylines. But it means I not only have to deal with the plot of the novel, but also the twists and turns of the fictional soap opera!
