that was the year that (almost) was
Dec. 9th, 2010 05:50 pmThe annual first-line-of-the-month meme. I'm using the first line of public posts.
January: Last night I had my customary New Year's Eve celebration of champagne, caviar, and other nice snacks + DVDs.
February: Chapter 24 of the Jo book is done.
March: It is Monday, and I am feeling less than great and hoping my chiropractor can see me soonish.
April: Today's Ryan's Hope had one of my favorite Delia fantasy sequences, in which Delia sings "Danny Boy," and Faith smokes the Cigarette of Evil.
May: I'm in the midst of a weekend of insane amounts of cleaning.
June: I'm home from WisCon, after a long day of travel.
July: So in the novel I'm currently working on (not the Jo book), there's a minor character named Sydney Painter.
August: TCM is in the midst of a Basil Rathbone marathon.
September: Not that any of you would, but please don't crosspost comments to Twitter or Facebook from any of my locked/filtered entries.
October: The weather in LA has been deeply odd lately.
November: I'm not happy about yesterday's Republican gains.
December: My new favorite thing from Trader Joe's: their dried fruit Super Cranberry & Pomegranate Blend (with raspberries, cherries and black currants).
