I spent this afternoon browsing at bookstores (Brand Bookshop and Skylight) and going to the movies. At Brand I bought The Way the Wind Blew: A History of the Weather Underground and Singing My Him Song by Malachy McCourt. The movie I saw was The Black Swan: sort of a cross between The Turning Point and Repulsion, with a dash of Cronenberg's The Fly thrown in. Visually stunning, if thematically rather cliched.
Where the heck did my long weekend go? I could use some more.
