drive-by Thursday post
Feb. 3rd, 2011 04:37 pmWeather: I am grateful we have not been participating in the snowpocalypse (though it's not really a surprise). Currently it's cold by LA standards (with a high in the low sixties), windy, and dry as a bone.
Writing: I seem to be making headway with the Jo book revisions. Also writing a poem or two.
Reading: I devoured Among Others by Jo Walton with great delight--a love poem to books and bookish community. As the novel's teenage protagonist says, "There are some awful things in the world, it's true, but there are also some great books." I found the book very comforting in a difficult time.
