as the four-day weekend approaches
Jun. 30th, 2011 04:53 pmI am so glad I am about to have a four-day weekend. My past two weekends were marred by jury-duty-related stress, but now that's resolved, so I suspect I will actually be able to relax this weekend. I need to do some Readercon prep, plus read the new Rhysling anthology and figure out what to vote for. And, of course, there's the Jo book and a short story to work on. But there will also be some quality lying around.
On Monday I will doubtless have my usual Fourth of July celebration: eating chips and some kind of dippy things (salsa? guacamole? chili con queso?), drinking a Bloody Mary or a margarita, and hiding from fireworks.
