WisCon (online)

Although I won't be at in-person WisCon this year, I will be doing a WisCon reading online: Saturday at 10 a.m. Central Time in Ansible 4, I'll be reading from my novel Can't Find My Way Home! That's 8 a.m. Pacific Time, so I'll be able to pretend I'm jetlagged in my very own living room. (I'm considering ordering breakfast delivery afterwards, so I can pretend I'm getting hotel room service.) I'm sad I won't be attending WisCon in person, especially during my debut novel year, though I know it was the right decision.

This morning while I was out doing a couple of errands in my neighborhood, I saw a large group of kids from Marshall High School protesting the NRA. Many cars and trucks honked their support. I'm sorry such things are necessary, but I'm so proud of these kids.
