General Hospital mostly continues to suck, but on today's ep, Jax uttered perhaps the quintessential soap line of all time: "Insects live longer than my marriages." (There were a couple of nice Jax/Alexis scenes today.)

Also, they've fired Jennifer Bransford, the horrific Carly recast. She'll be gone soon. Yay.

Hee!!! That is too funny. I was tempted recently to catch up on GH when I heard that they had finally broken up Jason and Courtney, but the fact that they didn't take the opportunity to have her drive a car off a cliff, and instead put her with Jax, made me realize that getting back into GH could only end in tears, to be melodramatic enough.

And man, run-on sentence much? :-)

And I feel sorry for anyone who plays Carly. They've had such strong actresses playing her, those are big shoes to fill.

Courtney was always snooze-inducing, although strangely I like her with Nicolas (a pairing I would've never predicted).

I still think Sarah Brown was the definitive Carly (and she was the only one who could actually make me like Carly), though Tamara Braun grew on me. But Jennifer Bransford has been utterly painful to watch. I wish they'd just write out her character instead of trying to recast her again...

as long as they get rid of the new carly i'm pretty happy. the soap magazine at the store was implying that tamara braun might return, but it sounds too good to be true.

I was never a huge Tamara fan, but after the awful job Jennifer Bransford's done, I'd love it if Tamara came back! If she doesn't, I wish they'd just write out the character, rather than inflicting another awful recast on us...

I would love it if Sarah Brown came back...but it doesn't seem likely, alas.
