Loved it, albeit not quite as much as last week's. An excellent blend of the historical and the scary. Plus, the snogging! (Plus, Madame de Pompadour bore more than a passing resemblance to Romana.) My only problem with the whole falling in love with Madame de Pompadour thing is that I find romances-of-the-week (a la Kirk in Star Trek) generally less interesting than the ongoing relationships between the characters who get to stick around. Nonetheless, Tennant made it work with the giddy and the angsty. He really is magical as the Doctor.
