back at work

Back at the office. Not as brutal a reentry as it might have been, though I made the mistake of watching Man on Wire last night at bedtime, which ensured that I would not doze off quickly or easily. I could've used another couple of hours sleep.

Worked on chapter eleven revisions at lunchtime. Hope to finish the chapter this week, though there's still a pesky little plot point in the soap-within-the-novel that I need to work out.

And on today's Ryan's Hope: yay, the real Rae Woodard is back! All hail Louise Shaffer!Goodbye lackluster Temp!Rae, played by Judith McGilligan...

Now that I have the netbook, I am thinking of carrying it to work for lunchtime writing. But not too often, I think I need that break in the middle of the day.

Usually I'm too tired and brain-dead after my workday to get writing done, so I generally write at lunch during the week. Even though it's not a lot of time per day, the work adds up pretty quickly...

That's true, even a couple paragraphs a day adds up! I am slack right now, while I do revisions. At least, compared to the draft stage.
