My favorite parts of the Batshit!Tom on Vacation storyline:
The creepy location shots of Hallucination!Teresa silently standing amid autumn trees, watching Tom and Faith.
Faith asking Tom why he's doing all this, and Tom replying, "Because you're wicked, and you deserve to be punished." Eeeek!
The creepiness of Tom waking up in bed realizing something's wrong, unable to remember that he's left Faith to freeze all night.
The fact that, after Faith stabs Tom, she's temporarily as batshit crazy as he is, as evidenced by her yelling "DADDY!" Great continuity from Faith #1 (kidnapped by Kenneth Castle) to Faith #4.
One of my favorite early Jack/Siobhan scenes aired this week, in which Jack tries to mediate between Siobhan and Mary #3. Jack and Siobhan end up sitting on the couch together happily comparing notes on their rebellious ways and discovering themselves to be kindred spirits, while Mary #3 looks on in dismay, suddenly on the outside. I'm not a fan of Kathleen Tolan, but she nails Mary's discomfiture as Jack's attention is entirely on her sister.

I know enough about Olivia's character to know this is such a 180 it's stunning; and it's believable, I think, in her character arc.
Seeing this stripped the rose-colored-it's-meh-but-okay-enough-to-watch glasses off of my GH viewing face because what they are doing here with those girls and what they do in many ways on RH shows how brilliant things can be when story is given time and actors know the import in underplaying.

There's no storytelling at all, there's just flailing around starting stories and stopping them and reversing them and throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. I wish Claire Labine could come back as head writer--her years at GH were just magical.
