gwynnegaI hadn't remembered exactly when Samuel Addison Snow was gonna drop dead in Rae's apartment. His very quiet death is wonderfully and creepily played by Tom Aldredge (recast from the previous Snow actor(s?) just to kill off the character--but he'll come back later as detective Matt Pearse, and of course he's best known as Carm's dad on The Sopranos). Louise Shaffer has never been better as the freaked out Rae trying to hide her outfreakage and the dead guy in her apartment (complete with incriminating documents) from Frank.
Also never better is Nancy Addison in the scene of Jill ripping into Seneca for trying to rape her and control her: "I am tired of being cornered." The scenes of their marriage's unraveling feel very real.
Meanwhile...
Jack and Siobhan: [are stuck alone in the back of a limo, despite their best efforts]
Gwynnega: YAY!
At the Harborside Restaurant...
Joe: Wouldn't you like to dance with your sister-in-law, Jack?
Jack:Among other things. I don't dance.
Later, after Siobhan leaves...
Joe: So Jack, tell me all about Siobhan.
Jack: You seem very interested in her.
Joe: Wouldn't you be?
Jack: She's My Sister-in-Law!!!
Joe: I mean, if you were me.
Jack: [eyes glaze over]HELL, YES. I guess so.
The next day, at Weehawken Street...
Jack: [hotly typing]
Mary #4: [bursts in the door] I'm back from Washington! And it's my last trip there! I don't think the Thatcher Ross actor is even going to be on anymore!
Jack: I'm overjoyed, though we still have no chemistry.
Later, at Ryan's Bar...
Jack: Mary's not going to Washington any more!
Siobhan: [looks like she wants to shoot herself] That's great, Jack.
Meanwhile...
Delia: I'm merrily ignoring my budding marital problems in order to break up Pat and Nancy, so Maeve will love me forever! Oh boy, here's Adam Cohen, a perfect Jewish doctor for Nancy!
Gwynnega: Plus Adam's played by the awesome Sam Behrens (who I first knew as Jake Meyer on GH in the '80s)!
Adam and Nancy: [argue about Nancy's dad's medical care]
Adam and Nancy: [hate each other on sight]
Gwynnega: I can't help but notice that Adam and Nancy already have the smoking hot chemistry that Nancy and Pats #2 and #3 lack.
Delia: Yay!
Gwynnega: Don't get too excited, Delia. The writers will do their best to ignore said chemistry.
Nancy: What chemistry? I love Pat, and only Pat!
Gwynnega: Yeah, yeah.
