I like that poem! I saw "The Woman Next Door," either dubbed or subtitled in German, when I was in Frankfurt in the summer of 1981 and liked it, too, although not as much as "The Last Metro." I've never seen "Adele H.," I'll have to get that one. (I've always suspected Isabelle Adjani is a vampire; her appearance stayed identical for at least 20 years.)
