gwynnegaOff to WFC. The shuttle's supposed to pick me up in 45 minutes. I probably won't be online much until Monday.
On today's Ryan's Hope:
This is the point at which I start to despise Joe Novak, who I was finding fairly likeable until now. His lovey-dovey voice and his absolute lack of chemistry with Siobhan, his romantic blather while he lies to his wife's face, and especially his blatant attempt to knock up Siobhan when she tells him again and again that she's not ready to get pregnant. I loathe him right now! Meanwhile, Jack/Siobhan are worlds hotter than Joe/Siobhan with just the tiniest of touches, kisses on the cheek, and smiles. This is my favorite Jack--protective of Siobhan at all costs, determined to find out the truth about Joe and Tiso, and embracing his part in the Ryan family (in spite of Johnny). This is not my favorite Siobhan, though--I hate seeing her so diminished by her marriage to Joe.
Wes Leonard! I had forgotten about today's Wes-Delia conversation. Hilarious.
Wes: What kind of business is Tiso financing for your...friend?
Delia: A string of boutiques.
Wes: The idea of a Tiso Novotny line of evening wear gives one pause.
But I think Roger had the line of the day.
Delia: I have all the friends I need!
Roger: Tiso Novotny and a gorilla. True to form...
