It is still rainy in LA, and I have a cold. I think it's the first cold I've had in over a year, though, so I guess I can't complain.
Meanwhile, after much consideration and some experimenting, I think I've decided that the Jo book needs to be in first person instead of close third. Too bad I didn't figure that out awhile back...say, before I started the first draft! However, I don't think it'll be as difficult a fix as going from first to third person. (Eleanor Bell had a chapter in first person that I had to put into third, and that was a tough transformation.) Plus, a lot of words are going to get pitched out entire, and new stuff written. Oh Jo book, the things I do for you...
