gwynnegaThe good: On Thursday night I went with my friend Eileen to the Echo to see the wonderful reunion show of my old friends Trotsky Icepick (with my friend Adam Marsland playing guitar/keyboards for them). I'd never actually seen Trotsky Icepick before, but I'd seen zillions of shows by the guys' other bands The Last and The Urinals/100 Flowers.

Also good: I'm finally figuring out what to do with chapter 14 of the Jo book. This weekend I want to work a lot on that and on a short story that finally came unstuck.
The bad/the ugly: I have jury duty on Monday. I'm hoping it'll be a one-day deal like last time I had jury duty. If it looks like I am getting on a jury, I may need to try to get excused or get a postponement, what with Readercon coming up in three and a half weeks...
