Writing: I'm currently working on chapter 16 of the Jo book. Also last weekend I wrote a poem about Bell, Book and Candle (after watching the film on TCM).

Reading: Names by Marilyn Hacker, The Golden Gate by Vikram Seth, and Planet of the Apes as American Myth: Race, Politics, and Popular Culture by Eric Greene.

Back: My lower back recovered quickly, but now my upper back feels knot-tastic. Chiropractor tomorrow!

First reading of TGG? I loved that book. Am a little afraid to reread it 20 years later or whatever, lest it seem precious to me now.

Yes, first reading of TGG. I remember when it came out, and I can't for the life of me figure out why I didn't read it then--it seems like something I would've loved. So far I'm really enjoying it. (Plus I bought it at City Lights!)

I'm glad they are moving the Two Todds thing along. I was really excited about it, and then it took forever for them to come face to face. Now, at least, they seem to be moving on with the explanations. Watching everyone play off each other is incredible. Really loving OLTL.

Since they came face to face, it's just been incredible. I fear the explanations will be pretty wacky, but I don't really care because the emotional payoff is so great.
