Tru Calling

I've been playing catchup with what NZ TV has been airing of S2 Tru Calling, and it just figures that when the show really got good, the show got canceled. I was enjoying it towards the end of S1 (especially when they brought in Jason Priestley), but Jane Espenson's presence this season made all the difference. The eps became much less formulaic and more surprising. The ep I watched last night, 2x3, was written by Jane, and it really showed - there was some downright hilarious (and rather Jossversian sounding) dialogue, and both Eliza Dushku and Jason Priestley looked like they were having a hell of a good time with it...

And instead, we got Point Pleasant?
