animated Buffy

Wow, somebody on Youtube posted a bit of the Buffy animated series that never came to pass. I really wish it had--it's fun, and has the actors' voices and everything! High school Buffy and Willow and Xander and Giles!!

weekend

I went to cons the last two weekends (Dark Shadows Festival and Comic-Con), so today I am enjoying a nice, quiet day at home. Plus, yesterday was my day off. I may go shopping in Glendale tomorrow. I've been noveling and working on a short story, reading The Brontes Went to Woolworth's and the ARC of Janes in Love, watching the final DVD of late 80s Ryan's Hope eps, and reading the insane Breaking Dawn spoilers.

Last night I reread sections of Vida by Marge Piercy (probably my favorite Piercy novel and a book which I read several times in the 80s-early 90s), one of the inspirations for my current novel. I'm realizing it's time for me to do some research on the draft board bombings that took place in the late 60s-early 70s. Maybe I can find some info online, but I probably need to go on the Los Angeles Public Library website and check out some histories/accounts of the time period.

I think I may have Thai food for dinner. I ought to do some vacuuming--but will I?
