weekendness

It's been a gorgeously warm day in LA. The Garage Kitty has been luxuriously napping--beneath a car when the sun was hot, on top of a hood when it was cooler (with a break between naps for chicken Fancy Feast). I had Coffee Table brunch with my old friend S., and we spent hours catching up. Then I went to Trader Joe's.

This evening I'm gonna work on chapter 12, which I should be able to finish this weekend. Also I'm gonna watch 1970 Dark Shadows--the Parallel Time storyline, which is sort of Dark Shadows fanficcing itself.
