I am hennaing my hair on a cold-for-Los-Angeles day. (This weekend there has even been some snow reported in Van Nuys and Pasadena, but not, alas, in Silver Lake.) I am bracing for a wind event tomorrow and heavy rain later in the week.
But I am still basking in the relief of our democracy's narrow escape and Biden busily cleaning up Trump's mess.
Also, on February 1st Climbing Lightly Through Forests will be released! It's an anthology of poetry in tribute to Ursula K. Le Guin, co-edited by R.B. Lemberg and Lisa M. Bradley, and it includes work by such poets as Sonya Taaffe, Sofia Samatar, Jeannelle D'Isa, and me, plus R.B. Lemberg's retrospective essay of Le Guin's poetry. It's also available from Aqueduct Press and Bookshop.org. I am really looking forward to its publication.
