Tomorrow is my day off, yay. I will finish chapter 14 (and do some planning/thinking/research for the Jo book). Also, I will continue reading Ellen Klages's wonderful Portable Childhoods.
On Ryan's Hope...
Johnny: Damn, I'm in lousy financial shape. I'd hate to disappoint Maeve and Annie about the farm renovations, but maybe I should...
Maeve: John, look! A letter from Annie about the farm!!
[Musical montage of Skibbereen starts up]
Helen Gallagher [sings]: Home! Home never changes in your miiiiiind...
Johnny: Damn.
Jill: A musical montage? Oh please, please not another go round of John Gabriel singing "Hello Again" with photos of Edmund at Christmas!
[sneaks a couple of painkillers]
[no montage begins]
Whew, that was close.
Mary #4: Jack, didn't you and I used to have a musical montage?
Jack: That was when you were Kate Mulgrew.
Siobhan: I bet I NEVER get a musical montage, what with me being the family outcast and all.
Jack: Nope, no musical montage for you. You get something better, Siobhan: La Traviata at Weehawken Street, with me.
Siobhan: Oh, neat!
Mary #4: Hey!
Jack: Sorry, Mare. It'd be different if you were still Kate Mulgrew...
