Bradford and Mythcon

It's been a busy, broiling weekend (but tomorrow will be leisurely). Yesterday I got up painfully early and went to the airport hotel in Van Nuys for the Breakfast With Bradford Anderson fan event. When BA arrived, he lamented, "It's EARLY!" He was a real mensch, a lot better looking in person than on TV, very down-to-earth and, of course, very funny. Also I chatted about soaps with the woman sitting next to me, who turned out to be tina197335 from the spinelli_gh community. A fun morning.

Today I went to Mythcon at UCLA. I got to meet sartorias, who led a great roundtable discussion of fantasy tropes.

Now it's time for some noveling...

The Bradford event was really fun--and he made sure to talk to absolutely everyone in the room.

Today will be stay-at-home-and-write today, which I'm looking forward to.
