Happy Solstice! Here in LA it is still Freaking Raining. (But it's supposed to stop after tomorrow, and my windows haven't leaked any more since Saturday night.) The Garage Kitty is, I think, wondering if the sun will ever come out again.

I just wrote a poem. Yay.

The rain in LA was all over my WNYC radio news this morning, and of course I thought first of you, then your windows, and then Garage Kitty!

I had a pretty hair-raising drive home from a dinner party last night--the heavy rain wasn't supposed to start up again until after midnight, but it started just as I left the party! But my windows have miraculously stayed dry. The Garage Kitty has been doing a lot of huddling in a corner of the garage, poor thing--but we're supposed to have some sun tomorrow!
