Merry Christmas, you're fired
Dec. 21st, 2006 01:03 pmAccording to TV Guide, GH fired Stuart Damon this week, and Alan Quartermaine will be written off the show in February. Granted, they haven't given Alan Q. much to do for ages, but the better solution would've been to give the soap veteran something to work with. ::fumes::

Date: 2006-12-21 09:26 pm (UTC)Given *how* they're writing him off, it's kind of a relief. He hasn't had a story in ages, and this way, like Tony, he'll get a few nice days of flashbacks and fun things like that. I'm not looking forward to Emily's reaction, but I am interested to see Skye's and Jason's and Monica's and Edward's.
In the comments, someone's like "Jane Elliott and Tony Geary are next, gah!" but that seems like such an over-reaction since both of them have had tons of story.

Date: 2006-12-21 09:35 pm (UTC)But, yeah, when you look at how much story Tracy and Luke get, it's like, wow, you really can't do more with these awesome actors?
I will take death over really bad recast (*cough*Felicia*cough) ANY DAY. Though I'm still bitter they didn't kill Felicia during the epidemic.
