gwynnegaRight now I'm watching The Young and the Restless marathon on Soapnet. Y&R's arguably the best soap in production right now, thanks to stellar writing and a mostly magnificent cast (though One Life To Live gives it a run for its money on both counts). One of the many things to recommend it: septuagenarian Michael Fairman (who played the vicious yet lovable bookie Nick Szabo on Ryan's Hope, aging mobster Harry Silver on GH, and sadist Niska on Firefly) playing opposite the amazing Jeanne Cooper.
Meanwhile, GH continues to mostly suck, as good actors languish under craptacular writing.
