Aug. 31st, 2008 09:36 pmToday I worked on chapter seven, and have now hit a slight block with it. I'm hoping tomorrow I'll figure it out--if not, I suppose I can just move ahead and then go back. So glad I have tomorrow off. I plan on a quiet day of writing, lounging around reading, etc.
Saw LACMA's Japanese Art 1615-1868 exhibit today with C. and D. (who now live walking distance from the museum), then had dinner at Marie Callender's (including a fairly potent Mojito). Now I'm gonna heat up the cherry pie I got there and watch Mad Men.
The news of the police raids in Minneapolis is--well, I'd like to say it's unbelievable, but unfortunately it's not. It is scary and infuriating, and I hope the press covers it further.
