Ryan's Hopemania

I now have 22 DVD-Rs of Ryan's Hope episodes from 1982-1989 (plus a disc of interviews and promos). As if I needed more impetus to veg out in front of the TV. Right now I'm in the midst of the 1983 storylines. How will I ever tear myself away? Help!!

Geoffrey Pierson was Frank in 1983...one of the better Franks!

I had to look it up on IMDB. I'm related to somebody related Daniel Hugh-Kelly who was Frank Ryan from 78- 81. I should've known based on the year the twins were born. Judging by the stuff I've seen him in I doubt he was one of the better Franks.

Oh, Daniel Hugh-Kelly! He's great. He's widely regarded as the best Frank. (He recently played a judge on One Life to Live, and he's currently a villain on As the World Turns!)

I've only seen him in the one Trek movie and some really crappy sitcom-y things. So I guess the writing wasn't the best. Sort of like judging JM on his non Joss stuff. I can say that the cousins adore him and he seems really nice.
