OMG, today's first Ryan's Hope ep must have been a Friday ep, it was so chockful of EVENTS. First there was the terrific scene in which Johnny manages to convince Jack to recuperate with the Ryans. This will prove to be a terrible idea, but I love that Johnny loves Mary so much that he's willing to do what he thinks will ease her mind. And I love the grudging cordiality between Johnny and Jack.

Then, Mary's pregnant, AND Delia gives Jill a shove and Jill winds up unconscious on the ground! Now that's what I call a cliffhanger. Big doings ahead, and Frank #2 is just around the corner.

Grrr argh!! I didn't get today's episodes for some reason--TiVo claims there was "no video feed," although everything seems to be working fine now.

Frank #2 had been the villain in the first Dirty Harry film, which was apparently why he was eventually replaced, because the network felt it was too weird to have him playing a good guy. He wasn't as good as Franks #3 and #4, but worlds better than #1!
