gwynnegaLinkage: BBC4 Women's Hour radio program on Sylvia Townsend Warner and Valentine Ackland, their relationship and their poetry. The new editions of their poetry sound great.
OMG, today's first Ryan's Hope ep must have been a Friday ep, it was so chockful of EVENTS. First there was the terrific scene in which Johnny manages to convince Jack to recuperate with the Ryans. This will prove to be a terrible idea, but I love that Johnny loves Mary so much that he's willing to do what he thinks will ease her mind. And I love the grudging cordiality between Johnny and Jack.
Then, Mary's pregnant, AND Delia gives Jill a shove and Jill winds up unconscious on the ground! Now that's what I call a cliffhanger. Big doings ahead, and Frank #2 is just around the corner.
