Ugh, we're having another blast of summer heat and blazing sun. It's only supposed to last a couple of days, but I want autumn to stick around awhile!
On this week's Ryan's Hope...
Claire Labine: Kate Mulgrew, for your two and a half years of wonderful work on Ryan's Hope, you win...an all-expenses paid trip to Ireland!
Kate Mulgrew: Wheeeeeee!
Claire Labine: And Michael Levin, for having to deal with awful Mary recasts for the next couple of years before we can convince the network to kill her off...you get to go to Ireland too!
Michael Levin: Gee, thanks.
Mary and Jack: [cavort at Yeats's house]
Jack: [recites Yeats' When You Are Old and The Song of Wandering Aengus]
Gwynnega: [swoons]
Mary: [reads inscription at Yeats's house]
Gwynnega: Oh, neat! I wanna go to Ireland.
Claire Labine: Isn't this location shoot grand? I think I'll shoot a movie here! Kate, you can star in it!
Kate Mulgrew: Yay!
Meanwhile, back in the States...
Delia: [hangs wallpaper as lopsidedly as is humanly possible]
Pat: [exhausted, bedraggled from picketing in the rain]
Delia: Paddy, help me hang wallpaper!
Pat: Oh crap. [washes down speed with coffee] Wheeeeee! Now I can wallpaper all of Riverside!!!
Delia: I wish it could always be like this.
Pat: [is a wild-eyed speedfreak, but amorous]
Delia: [is happy]
Pat: Wow, now I'm not just hearing creepy music in my head, I'm having a Dark Shadows-esque hallucination of Delia's sweater sparkling in psychedelic fashion! That's...odd.
